At St Bartholomew’s Primary School we offer a curriculum which is broad and balanced and which builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills of all children, whatever their starting points, as they progress through each Key Stage. The curriculum incorporates the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum 2013 and other experiences and opportunities which best meet the learning and developmental needs of the pupils in our school.

Through our curriculum, we aim that pupils are inspired and engaged in their learning. We encourage pupils to be curious and ask questions about the world around them. Our curriculum facilitates pupils personal development to explore their passions and talents. Through our curriculum we support pupils develop their aspirations for their futures and become life-long learners.

If you have any questions about your child’s curriculum please speak with the class teacher. If your enquiry is more general, please contact the school and speak with Headteacher Mrs Gemma Coward.
